Abram finds a new gear

Tonight was a swim dual between Willmar and Dassel – Cokato – Litchfield. We have never been to their pool before, and this matchup was set to be a close one. That is exactly what it was. The meet came down to the final relay, the winner would get the “W”. Abram had already had one of his best nights yet in the pool as he nearly broke into the :22  range on his 50 split in the 200 free relay. He also went a 1:56.96 in his 200 free and secured first place by nearly four seconds. He was also the winner of the 500 free which Coach let him lay back on because he knew he needed every ounce of energy for the upcoming relays. The relay was neck and neck when Abram took to the water against the top swimmer for DCL to anchor the 400 Relay. He held strong and he held his own, but in the end got narrowly out touched. There was no room to be upset as we opened up to see his split in our Meet Mobile app say that he did his 100 in :51.81. He was beaming! What a phenomenal night. He truly found a brand new gear tonight!
